# Let’s build better dev tools, together.

At Graphite, we’re defining what the next generation of software development tools will look like. That’s why we care deeply about who joins our team. If you’re passionate about developer experience, thoughtful AI, and intentional design, you’ll feel right at home.

## Our values

1. 1.

   ### Kindness

We aim to create a supportive environment where everyone can contribute.

2. 2.

   ### Expertise

We’re building tools for world-class engineers, so we hold ourselves to the same standard.

3. 3.

   ### Urgency

This keeps us moving fast, removing friction and shipping quickly to help engineers do the same.

## Life at Graphite

We’re dedicated to building great dev tools and just as serious about building a great place to work. That’s why we do a lot of things, together. Every year, we unplug and reconnect at a team offsite in a thoughtfully chosen location. You can often find our team exploring lunch spots around SoHo, collaborating on the couches, or talking shop in the fully-stocked kitchen.
